
As part of its 50th anniversary, ACPM is pleased to introduce the Emerging Leader in Pensions Award – a national award recognizing professionals aged 40 and under who are making meaningful contributions to Canada’s retirement system.
The Emerging Leader in Pensions Award celebrates the next generation of leaders helping shape the future of retirement in Canada.
Across the pension ecosystem – including plan administration, policy, governance, investments, consulting, and innovation – recipients demonstrate leadership, initiative, and measurable impact.
Nominees should:
- 40 years of age or younger as of April 30, 2026
- Work primarily in the Canadian pension or retirement income sector
- Demonstrate leadership, initiative, and measurable impact
- Show a forward-looking perspective on the future of retirement
Nominations may be submitted by colleagues, peers, or through self-nomination.
A complete nomination package includes:
- A biography, CV, or LinkedIn profile outlining professional experience and contributions
- Two short written statements:
- Achievements & Impact
- Vision for the Future
- At least one letter of support
Selected recipients will:
- Be recognized at the ACPM 2026 National Conference in Montréal
- Receive complimentary registration to attend the Conference
- Receive a two-year ACPM membership
- Be featured across ACPM communications, including the website, newsletter, and LinkedIn
- Be invited to engage with ACPM’s emerging leader initiatives
Selection is competitive and based on demonstrated impact, leadership, and future potential.
