Financial and Retirement Literacy
What Role Should
Employers and Plan Sponsors Play?
We’ve all heard similar sentiments: “Why didn’t I pay more attention when I was younger?” Or, “If only I knew then what I know now.”
Today, retirement plan members and employees are increasingly thirsty for information on managing finances at various stages of their life and/or understanding the decisions they’ll face as they retire – especially as statistics show they’re living longer than ever before. This begs the question, should employers and plan sponsors be tasked with providing the information and/or education on managing finances in support of financial literacy to employees and retirement plan members? And if so, to what extent?
Join us for an engaging panel discussion featuring experienced professionals who will share their insights and experiences on the role their organizations have played in increasing financial and retirement literacy among their respective groups. This interactive forum will include the opportunity for attendees to share insights, questions, experiences and opportunities as we navigate together down this road of enhancing financial literacy.
