As pension plans look to diversify portfolios, manage inflation, and enhance returns, private investments and alternative asset classes are playing an increasingly important role. Yet while larger plans have long integrated these strategies, many small and mid-sized plans – across both DB and DC – face challenges in accessing and governing them effectively.

Join ACPM’s Ontario Regional Council for an engaging panel discussion on how plans of all sizes can participate in private markets. This session will explore practical access pathways, including pooled structures, bundled solutions, and multi-asset approaches that support both DB and DC objectives. Speakers will also address evolving risk and governance considerations – including member experience – shaping today’s investment environment.

The formal program will be followed by a networking reception, offering an opportunity to connect with peers, service providers, and representatives from government and regulatory bodies.
