There are twelve members on the ACPM Board of Directors, all of whom serve in a volunteer capacity. There is a conscious attempt made to ensure that there are two Directors from each of the following regions of the country: British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan & Manitoba, Ontario, Québec and the Atlantic.
When seeking candidates for office, the Governance & Nominating Committee makes every effort possible to ensure that the eventual make-up of the Board is representative of the ACPM membership, of which the majority are plan sponsors/administrators. Directors serve for a three-year term with four new Directors being elected at the Annual General Meeting in September of each year. There is no limit to the number of years that a Director may serve on the Board. The President, Vice-President and Secretary are elected each year by their fellow Board members at the first Board meeting following the September AGM.
