OSFI issued a draft Instruction Guide for the Preparation of Actuarial Reports in the fall of 2008. The draft Guide requires significant additional disclosures in routine actuarial reports. OSFI issued the final Instruction Guide in March 2009.
In October 2008, ACPM provided commentary to OSFI regarding appropriate content for actuarial reports.
ACPM will continue to monitor Regulators’ required contents for valuation reports.
