Pensions Canadians Want
This engaging one-hour webinar explores the results of a national survey conducted on behalf of the Canadian Public Pension Leadership Council (CPPLC) that identifies the pension features Canadians want and are willing to pay for. These features include predictable lifetime income, survivor pension benefits and early retirement options, examined by age cohorts and income levels.
The survey results touch on how financial retirement planning stress affects productivity – those with some form of workplace retirement savings arrangements enjoy lower levels of stress – and makes the business case for workplace pensions from the perspectives of government, employers and individuals.
The webinar is hosted by two accomplished presenters: Derek W. Dobson, CEO of the CAAT Pension Plan, and Judy Payne, Executive Director of the Municipal Pension Plan in BC. Derek and Judy are also Co-Chairs of the CPPLC.
